Installation / Use Tips

1. Clean and dry the application area before installation.
2. For standard Mighty Line floor tape and floor signs, install when the floor temperature is above 50°F unless the product has different temperature-specific instructions.
3. Position one edge, then remove the backing progressively while applying the product.
4. Smooth the tape, sign, or marker as it is applied to reduce trapped air.
5. Confirm the final position and adhesion before returning the area to normal traffic.

Maintenance & Removal

Routine inspection and cleaning can help keep floor markings visible and in good condition, especially in high-traffic areas.

• Inspect regularly: check for lifting, damage, contamination, or reduced visibility and replace damaged sections when needed.
• Keep the surface clean: use Mighty Line Cleaner or another compatible cleaning method approved for the floor surface. Denatured alcohol may be used where appropriate for the surface and facility procedures.
• Avoid harsh cleaners: avoid heavy acidic cleaners or other chemicals that may affect the tape or adhesive.
• Prevent avoidable damage: do not drag skids or other heavy objects across the tape where they can catch or abrade the surface.
