Electrical Panel Floor Marking for Required Working Space

OSHA 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1) requires sufficient access and working space around applicable electrical equipment to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance.

For many installations, the minimum working-space depth is 36 inches. However, required clearance dimensions can vary depending on voltage, equipment, and installation conditions. Required working space may also not be used for storage.

This floor marking kit can help support compliance efforts by providing a highly visible floor sign and tape boundary that identifies an area intended to remain clear around electrical equipment.

The tape boundary helps visually identify an area that should remain clear of pallets, tools, stored materials, equipment, and other obstructions.
