Hello Everyone, This is David Tabar here. I am pleased to have joined Mighty Line floor tape in a new role as Innovative Safety Solutions Director.
My role at ShieldMark Inc. is to create and implement innovative safety information, communications and solutions that directly serve Mighty Line’s floor marking tape growing customers, knowledge base, and operations. I will be hosting a podcast called the Mighty Line Monday Minute apart of the Safety Stripes podcast.
I am looking forward to communicating with you regularly about interesting and unique topics. Some of these you will be very familiar with, while others will involve new areas of learning.
I’ll be discussing safety as it relates to floor tape and floor sign products, regulations and innovations. From these communications you will see how and why Mighty Line’s mission is to improve safety in your workplace.
I am excited to be on-board working for this fast-growing company. I was attracted by their innovative products, mighty line floor tape, and mighty line floor signs and their entrepreneurial spirit, and their fast growth. But most importantly, what excited me was, and is, their innate desire to make the world a better and safer place in which to live.

5S is an organization method that when properly implemented and followed can greatly improve the productivity and safety of a workplace. 5S stands for:
- Sort – Sort through all the items in a location and leave only what is necessary.
- Set in Order – Use 5S floor tape colors and floor markers to show workflow patterns, delineate work areas, and mark proper placement of tools, inventories, and machinery.
- Shine – Make your workplace shine and keep employee morale high with regular cleaning.
- Standardize – Make a routine for your workers. Ensure that they always know what they’re supposed to do, how best to do it, and when to do it. 5S tape colors, floor signs, and placement markers can play a big role in helping standardize a workplace.
