On today's episode, we'll be covering how Social Distancing Restrictions are lifting.

If you watch or listen to the news, have been outside, or have been paying attention to social media, you know that social distancing restrictions are being lifted all over the world. Here in the United States, mask-wearing and floor signs indicating where to stand are being seen less and less every day.

The same thing is occurring in warehouses and other facilities as well. Although social distancing restrictions are being lifted, remember, safety rules and restrictions are still firmly in place. Or at least they should be! Make sure you’re:

  • Paying extremely close attention to your work area and surrounding areas.

  • Wearing all the appropriate and recommended PPE (Personal Protection Equipment, including but not limited to boots, gloves, goggles, earplugs or earphones, braces, and hard hats).

  • Doing regular safety and maintenance checks on the tools and equipment you use.

  • And last, but certainly not least, following any 5/6S Procedures not mentioned here.

Some restrictions might come and go, but safety is something that should be increased and constantly improved upon, not lessened!
