On today’s episode, we’re going to be talking about Consistency.
If you listen to, watch, or read motivational content, you hear people talk about the importance of consistency. Much like anything in this world, consistency can refer to both positive and negative actions. When you’re taking in the motivational content mentioned above, it’s positive. But if you’re talking about consistently doing things that bring you harm, it’s negative.
On past episodes, you’ve heard me say that I feel one of the worst reasons you can give for doing something is “That’s the way we’ve always done it.” Can you imagine if the consistency your staff is employing every day is things affecting your facility in a negative way? That’s why the 5 and 6S Methodology we cover is so important! Be sure that your staff is not only consistently doing what’s positive for your facility, but that you’re consistently looking for ways to improve upon what they’re doing. That’s the kind of consistency that tips the scale in your favor!
